Sellel õppeaastal jätkub meie koolis Comeniuse projekt FRIENDS AROUND EUROPE. Ülo Kikk-kõrv magas küll 1. septembri hommikul sisse, aga kõik 67 ülejäänud õpilast kogunesid saali pidulikule õppeaasta avaaktusele. Our Comenius project FRIENDS AROUND EUROPE continues this schoolyear. Ülo Kikk-kõrv slept in on 1st September and couldn`t partisipate at the opening ceremony of the new schoolyear but all the 67 students were there to meet old and new friends.

Kui Ülo lõpuks taipas, et kooliaasta on alanud eksis ta suure ähmiga lasteaeda, kus toimus parajasti Tarkusepäeva tähistamine. Ülo otsustas terveks nädalaks lastaialastega jääda. When Ülo noticed finally that the new schoolyear has begun already, he get lost in the playschool where the children celebrated the Day of Knowledges and he decided to stay at the playschool for the following week.

Ülo suvi Eestimaal oli väga toimekas ja lõbus. Koos Kätlini ja Liis – Aleksandraga möödus suvi liigagi ruttu. Koos Kätliniga käis Ülo Melliste Triatlonil, Kätlini ema töö juures ja Rootsis. Ülo sai sõbraks ka Kätlini kassiga. Ülo`s summer in Estonia was very busy and fun. With Kätlin and Liis-Aleksandra the summer past too quickly. With Kätlin Ülo visited the sport competition: Melliste Triatlon, Kätlin`s mother`s place of work and took a trip to Sweden. Ülo made friends with Kätlin`s cat.

Liis – Aleksandraga koos sai Ülo kiikuda, batuudil hüpata, rattaga sõita, raamatut lugeda, lauamänge mängida, sõbral külas käia, korv- ja jalgpalli mängida, ristsõnu lahendada ja niisama ringi joosta. Ülost oli abi maja koristamisel ja kooliasjade ostmisel. Veel külastasid nad loomade varjupaika ja said sõbraks koer Lokiga. With Liis – Aleksandra Ülo could swing, jump on the trampoline, ride a bike, read a book, play boardgames, do crosswords, visit friends, play foot- and basketball. Ülo was a great help in cleaning the house and buying schoolthings. They visited abonded dog` home and made friends with dog Loki.

Õpilased saavad kooliaasta alguses oma mälu värskendada ja leida stendilt Comeniuse nurgas meie partnerriikide pealinnad, tere ja kuidas läheb? Students can check their memory and find some information about our partner countries and their languages from the Comenius board on the Comenius corner.

Õpetajate toas on Comeniuse nurgas välja pandud raamatud, mis külalised meie koolile kinkisid, Ülo reisipäevik kust saab lugeda tema eelmise aasta rännakutest ja karp eelmisel aastal valminud materjalidega CD-del. In the staff room there are exhibited the books - gifts from our friends, also the Ülo`s diary, where we can read about Ülo`s adventures last year. There is also the box with materials we made during this project last year on CD-s.

Ülo tervitab kõiki lapsi ja soovib neile alanud õppeaastal palju häid hindeid ja toredaid üllatusi. Samas ootab ta juba kannatamatult uusi reise, et näha mida sõprade juures tehakse. Ülo alustab oma reisi 16. oktoobril. Ülo greets all our students and wishes them good marks and nice surprises for the new schoolyear. Ülo waits impatiently the new trips, to see our friends in Europe. The first trip this year starts on 16th October.

18. Septembril oli meie majas huvitav ja väga õpetlik kohtumine päästeameti pommirühma esindajatega. Neil oli kaasas koer Pado, kelle ülesandeks on otsida üles lõhkeaine ja sellest oma peremehele märku anda. Koer ei lasknud ennast häirida võõrast kohast ja lastest, vaid jälgis ainult oma peremehe korraldusi ning kuuletus silmapilkselt. Ülo koos lastega sai teada, et ikka veel leitakse Eestimaalt ülekäinud sõdade aegseid lõhkekehasid, millede kahjutukstegemine ongi pommirühma ülesanne. Ka Ülole jäi meelde, et lõhkekeha leidmisel on esimene reegel ÄRA PUUTU! ja teine RÄÄGI TÄISKASVANUD INIMESELE OMA LEIUST! Ka tundmatut kahtlast eset ei tohi puutuda! Palju huvi pakkus lastele ka pommirobot. There was an interesting and educative meeting with bomb-police, -dog and –robot. The dog Pado demonstrated how he finds the explosive and informs his master about it. He didn`t care of the crowd but listened to his master very carefully and carried out excellent. Ülo and children got to know that there is still found the bombs and cannon shells from the times were the Wars were crossing Estonia. All children and Ülo remembed that if you`ll find the ordnance the first rule is DON`T TOUCH! and the second TELL TO ADULT ABOUT YOUR FIND!

Igal sügisel toimub meie majas näitus sügisandidest. Seekord võisime näha meie maja Nunnusid. Ülo leidis omale uusi kummalisi sõpru: kapsatüdruku, härra Maisi, rott Larissa… Every Autumn ther is an exhibition of fruit or vegetables in our school. This time we could see our Sweeties. Ülo found some strange friends: Cabbage-girl, Mr Corn, rat Larissa ….

Ülo käis tutvumas meie kooli esimese klassi lastega. Uuris kuidas neile koolis meeldib? Paistab, et kõik on hästi ja lapsed kooliga harjunud! Ülo visited first formers to find out how do they like the school? Seems that everything is OK!

Ülo tuletas koos kolmanda klassi õpilastega meelde jalakäija põhitõed liikluses. Koos valmis ruumiline linnake, sõidutee ja sõidukitega. Ülole meeldis ka sünnipäev plakatite ring klassiseinal. Millal on Ülo Kikk – kõrva sünnipäev? Ülo revised with the third formers the traffic regulationd for the walker. We made the spatial city with the road and traffic in art class. Ülo also enjoyed the birthday posters on the wall. When is Ülo`s birthday?
